Eli’s Tavern is a living record of the history and heritage of The Coonamessett’s Cape Cod tradition, recently renovated and refreshed to reflect the updated Falmouth MA inn. While the new Eli’s feels more contemporary, our Cape Cod restaurant still houses the heart and soul that has made it a community hub for decades.
Saddle up on a stool with one of our legendary bartenders for drinks and our full menu, or bring the crew in for a big family dinner. Our 90-seat dining room can accommodate good sized groups, and our newly opened community room is a perfect event space for larger parties, while never feeling stuffy.

This Round's on Eli
A tavern regular in the early days, our namesake Eli had a habit of drinking one beer and paying for two every night, saying that his second should go to someone who "needs one more than they can pony up for." This spirit of hospitality and generosity has remained a part of Eli’s legacy, and patrons are often seen buying “a round for Eli,” which our bartender gifts to a lucky future customer.
